Hi! I'm Amanda. I write this blog. I just finished college at Colgate University. Now I'm going to Simmons College to study library science. I'm a big nerd.

Contrary to what search engines seem to think, this website is not a source for finding titles or lyrics to old songs. My reasons for choosing this blog title can be found here.

I do love to write, and sometimes wonder if I might be able to make a career of it (when I'm feeling hopeful). Although for quite some time now I've been in a dead spot as far as fiction and poetry are concerned, I do post here about things that I'm thinking about fairly regularly. Just as some people find that they're less overwhelmed about things they have to do if they write a list, I feel less overwhelmed by all the thoughts floating around in my head if I can harness them into a mostly-coherent post. Everything that I've written since I first started blogging in February 2001 can be found in the archives. The title, design, and content have changed significantly since the beginning.
